Date: 21 May 2018.
In 2018 at the International Somali Awards, we saw incredible, inspiring nominees and winners. The ethos of ISA is to award, highlight and celebrate those inspirational achievements from Somalis from across the globe. Particularly at ISA18, we were privileged to award Abaarso School to an Outstanding Community Contribution Award. Abaarso School educated hundreds of young people to excel in education and some of their graduates gained scholarships from some of the best universities in the world. Their story and journeys have humbled us all and we encourage fellow Somalis to support Abaarso School to continue to produce incredible intellectuals who are the future bedrock for the Somali people.
The school has provided students a valuable opportunity to further enhance their academic and personal development over the years. Abaarso’s approach has had enormous success and we want to further express how important the work being done at Abaarso is and look forward to more success stories from the school.
Here are their details to see their incredible journey and to support them where possible.
